AWHI partners kicked off the first-ever Heat Pump Water Heater Day in 2022 to draw attention to the game-changing technology of HPWHs that holds enormous potential to reduce carbon emissions while saving energy and money. We provided templates in a social toolkit and other support to help participants share on social media. On social media (Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram) we used the hashtag #HeatPumpItUp to share HPWH resources, products, cost information, professional practices, projects, and insights on this technology. New templates will be available soon.
There were also special events and resources. Including, a video from Zwell that shares a project overview and an installation of a heat pump water heater. A HPWH Manufacturers Round Table that had participation from New Buildings Institute, ENERGY STAR, Bradford White, AO Smith, Nyle, Bradford White, Eco2Systems, Rheem, and others.
